Air Canada's Flexible Seat Selection Policy for Passengers

Air Canada reserves the right to change seat assignments at any time, including after boarding has begun.

Air Canada's seat selection policy allows passengers to choose their preferred seat at the time of booking or at any point before departure. The Air Canada Seat Selection Policy options available to passengers vary depending on the fare class purchased and the level of Air Canada's loyalty program the passenger is enrolled in.

Passengers traveling in higher fare classes or with elite status in the loyalty program may have access to additional seating options such as premium economy or business class seats. Seat selection fees may apply for some seats, including those with extra legroom or other premium features.

Passengers who do not select a seat at the time of booking will be assigned a seat by Air Canada closer to the departure date. However, seat assignments are not guaranteed, and Air Canada reserves the right to change seat assignments at any time, including after boarding has begun.
