The network monitor technician is skillful of noticing and reporting failures of hardware or devices. It typically deals with the system operation of hosts, the network utilization of links, and related features of the operation. It frequently directs information over the system network to each host to confirm that it is responsive to applications.  

At the time when the network responses are slow, or any unexpected failure happens due to connectivity issues, the system signals additional information as an alert to chosen locations such as an organization’s server, an email address or phone to notify computer administrators.

To be successful in this field, you will need to have an essential degree in computer science, IT, network technologies or a related field. A certification will add value to you as a professional.
