The unassuming Oregon town of Woodburn is located in the middle of Salem and Portland. The tulips at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm are so iconic, they headline the farm’s annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. The festival has grown to be driving directions one of Oregon's most popular springtime attractions, luring travelers in search of spring, photographers, and flower lovers. The festival's dates this year are March 24 through April 30. Day tickets start at $15 during the week and $20 on the weekends.

A $55 festival season pass, which grants unrestricted access to the farm during the festival dates, is recommended for those who want to guarantee they see the tulips in full bloom because the peak of the bloom is dependent on weather and growing conditions.

On March 18, the farm welcomes runners and walkers for the Tulip Trail Run. The farm's stunning tulip fields are a part of the off-road trail run's 5K, 10K, and half-marathon routes.

The Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm also raises grapes, and the Wooden Shoe Vineyards' wine tasting room sells bottles and wine tastings of their estate-grown wine. Visitors to the tulip festival can stop by the wine tasting room to sample another of the farm's well-liked goods.
