The choice of character class is crucial to a player’s success in Path of Exile. It determines their starting position in the passive skill tree and shapes the way they play. After defeating Kitava, the Exile is sent back to Oriath and finds that High Templar Dominus and his assistant Piety have been studying thaumaturgy. They then travel to Wraeclast, a penal colony.

Necromancer

The Necromancer is a powerful class that has recently experienced a surge in popularity due to its devastating spells. Its unique summoning skills allow it to create a large army of skeletons and dead enemies that can do its bidding.

These macabre casters can do a lot of damage with piercing barrage attacks and can add some crowd control and defense through their ability to raise minions. They can also make great use of the Ascendant tree which buffs many of their summoning abilities.

Elementalist
